It's going to get very lonely here unless someone else posts some stuff...
The Tizard Centre in Kent has something available through their website called The Subscriber Network, "the aim of...(which)... is to disseminate information on best practice in services for people with learning disabilities and promote its use in the provision of services in East Kent".
Although it seems to be a bit out of date, there is some good stuff there, particularly this booklet on individual and person centered planning and this one on Positive Behavioural Support (the thing I was going on about in the PRT workshop at the manager's conference yesterday). Both documents are in Microsoft word format, and include a copyright type notice about duplication.
Elsewhere, there is another "What is Person Centered Planning" style booklet here and an introductory article by Marsha Forest, Jack Pearpoint & John O'Brien here.
Is it somebody elses turn now?

Teething Troubles...
I sent Tim an invitation to post, but there seems to have been a bit of a technical hitch - when that is sorted, I will mail out invites (and instructions!) to the rest of the group.
In the mean time, I came across this article by Martha Leary on being a facilitator - it's primarily about Facilitated Communication, but has more general use as well.
Also of interest is the accessible version of the Paradigm-UK website - it's not perfect, but as a model for making information available to everyone, it's a good start.
Finally, there is an essay called "The politics of Person Centered Planning" by John O'Brien and Connie Lyle O'Brien here - it's a PDF file, though, so you will need Acrobat Reader to access it.

New Look
I've tidied things up a bit, and started adding links to the left hand side. I'll add the others from the handout later, but if there are any other links which it would be useful to have permanently, mail them to me.
Talking of email addresses, you will notice that there aren't any on here; this is intentional, as posting your email address on to a website is the quickest and easiest way of getting hundreds of spam mails pouring into your inbox. So don't be tempted to post your own address...
I really do think we ought to get rid of that advert, though...
